All in all the inspection went well. Suprisingly well for a house that was built in the 1950s. There are a few things that we will need to negotiate with the sellers over, but I am glad for that opportunity. We didn't hassle them too much during price negotiations in anticipation of the house needing some work. Most of it is completely doable... even if the sellers are punks. We are one step closer!!!
We are under contract for a house y'all. Woah. I am feeling excited and ALL SORTS of nervous. We have the inspection tomorrow and I really pray that it goes well! The house is located in our ideal area (on Grape Street... so cute) and is WAY bigger than we imagined ever getting in that area. It has a fully finished basement with two more bedrooms and a second kitchen down there. I will be posting more about the house and whatever changes we decide to make but for now, we are in the holding period and are hoping that things work out the way they are supposed to... not the way WE want them to. Asking for continued patience, prayer, and (the greatest of these) HOPE.
