Our wedding was on The Knot! Check it out!

LB and I got married on August 9, 2014. But We Got Engaged! on October 12, 2012. You read that right: we basically had a two year engagement. During those two years we did a lot and luckily for you, we chronicled it all right here. So buckle up, it's about to be a DIY Wedding overload. :)

First up, we took engagement photos with my favorite photographer of life: Preston Utley. I used the engagement photos to put together our Guest Book for the wedding. Speaking of photos I also put together a Photo Booth Backdrop.

Before I got too carried away, some actual planning had to be done... I answered the burning question of Where We Were Getting Married, shared our Save the Dates, discussed if a  Wedding Graphic Designer is Worth it, and even gave away some Weekend Itinerary and Don't Call the Bride Cards. I also did an informative post on How to use technology for your wedding. Then I shared a few of my wedding purchases like the Mr & Mrs Pillows, some Dresses I Love for Wedding Events and the rocking Custom Ties we got for Groom & Groomsmen. I also kept in mind a few Lessons from a friend's wedding, tips on how to Capitalize Your Time, and my most favorite LISTS! Specifically, the Massive wedding projects list.

And then all sorts of DIY's for the bridal party started happening. I asked my flower girls and bridesmaids to be in the wedding  (Part 1 and Part 2) and Katie put their Flower girl baskets together. I also corralled Thank You Cards (Part 1 and Part 2) and the cutest Welcome bags I ever did see.

Decor then took over as I practiced by making Signs for Ashley's wedding, and Katie and I put together Cornhole/Bags Game, we Painted the Cornhole Boards, ordered Paper napkins and sewed Fabric vintage ones. Katie also drew out the Bar Sign and we crafted the Coffee Filter Flowers that we used over the arch.

Finally, the parties got started! I had an Oregon Bridal Shower, a Colorado Bridal Shower, a Bachelorette Party & Rehearsal Dinner, and even shared how stressful the Rehearsal & Set Up were. But finally I shared a post on the day of my wedding that contained My Vows even before LB had heard them! Shortly after I shared my reflections and memories of the day along with all of our Invitations and Programs, a bunch of Pictures from Our DJ, and the Maid of Honor & Best Man speeches.

In March 2015, we finally took our honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas!
