Grape Street: Living Room, Office, Gym Progress Pictures

This is not going to be a complete before and after/progress house post, but it will have, at least, the living room, my office, and the "work out/dumping ground for wedding stuff" room. :) Note with all of the afters I didn't perfectly organize anything... the random stool that we don't know what to do with by the front door, the paperwork stuff on the TV Stand... it all stayed put. I'd like to say that this was to show the "TRUE" after, but I was just too excited to start using my camera to clean up anymore. If you missed the massive before pictures post, check it out here. 20140413-081626.jpg Living Room Let's take a little trip back to a time I call poo brown. It was everywhere.

And now, here is the progress of this lovely little living room. You might notice that the coffee table is absent (or not, because you live dangerously and without coffee tables). This is because we were refinishing it yesterday and I'll post about that little devil soon. We painted the room Cement Gray (BMoore). The door is Sherwin Williams. The rug is from Wayfair. The aqua chair, the side tables, the dressers (both the TV stand and 4 drawer doodad) were all thrift/goodwill/dumpster dive finds. We did a lot with chalk paint in this room. The couch is World Market. And the throw pillows are from Joanne's. Lamps- Target. Mail sorter- TJ Maxx. Weird branch thing- Target. IMG_0011

And now, here she is... the only changes I would make currently are doing something/anything with those damn closet doors and changing out the rug. We painted it Palladian Blue by BMoore and hung up the dressing bar. We also bought a few roll-out shoe rack, ELFA systems at container store. The desk is a thrift store find painted blue, the two shelf cabinet thing was a dumpster dive, and the oak chest under my dressing bar was my great-great-Aunt Jerry's. The jewelry thing with necklaces is Container Store, and the earring holder was made by my LB. The framed Psalm in the dressing corner, about being clothed in strength and dignity, I posted about here. IMG_0018

Ack. Look at that mess of wires under the blue desk. When you are in the room, the desk does a great job of hiding the wires because it is MASSIVE. I still want to paint this behemoth thing, but I also want to get rid of it and have some outlets put in the floor. #homeownerproblems

And now... LOVE this Black Pepper BMoore paint color in this room though. And trust me, this was the best view I could get at this time. The rest of the room is over FLOWING with wedding, home improvement, craft goodness. IMG_0028

Fine... told ya. IMG_0030

I'll continue to post before and afters as I get them organized, and as I continue to play with this camera!

The living room with people in it!
